Areas of Specialism: Leaderships, Interpersonal Skills, Listening Skills, EQ-Skill Enhancement Training, Workshop Facilitation.

Lauren works as a communication and leadership trainer, building custom curriculums for both one-on-one training and group workshops.

She specializes in helping people become aware of their communication habits and offering them tools and techniques to work toward greater clarity, authenticity, flexibility, and ease in their communication. Her goal is for participants to leave training with new understandings and tools and with a road-map to achieve increasing ease and flexibility in their communication. She has worked with IC’s, managers, and leaders across an array of industries, including tech start-ups, tech giants, nonprofits, medical sciences & research, security, game development, law, finance, and education.

Her approach is technical, nuanced, and highly individualized for each client. She prioritizes creating a positive, supportive, and thoughtful learning environment. With a background in performing arts, Lauren has years of experience in working with body language, expression, voice, and presence. This, in addition to her experience in science, education, and nonprofit work, has given her familiarity with navigating many different communication styles and personalities. Along the way, she has personally gained experience and methods to speak up, advocate, collaborate, and grow others, even in suboptimal circumstances. Overall, Lauren has a deep appreciation for the complexity and nuance of communication; especially where its intellectual aspects intersect EQ (such as expression, trust, influence, and rapport).

In her (albeit limited) spare time, you can find Lauren baking bread, hiking up mountains, solving jigsaw puzzles, working with high schoolers on self-representation and interview skills, writing, painting, or curling up with a cup of tea & a good book. Lauren received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Stanford University.
